Come and Worship!

We will be live streaming our worship service on Facebook at 10:00am each Sunday. We hope you will join us there!

Church Gatherings and Worship Services will not be held in person through April 30th.

Please watch this space or the FCC Stow Facebook page for further information on virtual gatherings and worship opportunities.

For more information, please see Pastor Jonathan’s message regarding FCC Stow’s response to this public health emergency.

We extend to you a warm welcome. Come join us for Worship and Fellowship! Worship Services are at: 8:30a.m. in our Chapel & 10:45 a.m. in our Sanctuary with Sunday School at 9:30. Both services include hymns, contemporary songs, scripture, sermon, prayer, and communion.  As Disciples we welcome all to the Table as Christ has welcomed us. The 10:45 service also includes a Children’s Message.

First Christian Church of Stow also hosts The Nest Early Learning Center, a Christ-centered, Reggio Emilia inspired preschool for children ages 2 through 5.

Mission Statement
We believe and proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. We strive as a community of believers to share the love of God with others, as taught by the scriptures and illuminated by the Holy Spirit.

Upcoming Events

Maundy Thursday Agape Service
Thursday, April 9 @ 7:00 PM via Facebook Live
Traditionally we would gather in in our Disciples Hall which would be transformed from rec hall to Upper Room, and share in a simple meal of light foods indicative of this first century setting. And though we will not be together in person, we will gather from afar and still be led to have a profound and moving time of worship where the dim setting, impactful music, moving prayers, holy scripture, and living words of institution can still take on a deeper and more powerful meaning than any other time of the year.

Good Friday Time of Worship
Friday, April 10, TBD
Traditionally our church joins together with the churches of Stow to share in a time of worship on Good Friday for a time of worship led by the Stow Ministerial Association through an inter-denominational Good Friday time of worship.

While that service cannot happen this year, we will still honor and observe this holy day in worship that will be a time of scripture, meditation, and song designed to guide us through the passion narratives found in the Gospels while leading us in remembering again the sacrifice Jesus made so we would have eternal and everlasting life.

More information about time and where you can find this service online will be forth coming.

All-Day Prayer Vigil
Saturday, April 11 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM @ Home
There is so much to be holding in prayer in these uncertain days, there are many laments to lift to the Lord, along with many prayers of gratefulness. Let us be intentional to take time on this Holy Saturday to be in prayer, together, wherever we may be.

Sign up and participate in this year’s Prayer Vigil.  On account of the on-going travel restrictions, this year the vigil will be held in the comfort of your own home.
