I have taught at First Christian Preschool five years

My classroom goal is to acclimatize children to a group setting, developing skills such as social, fine motor, gross motor, cognitive, and communicative, in a warm, loving, and respectful Christian environment. To accomplish this goal games, stories, songs, finger plays, manipulatives, puppets and free play time are incorporated into our program.

I have been a Substitute Aide for Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools for three years, a Substitute Aide for First Christian Church Preschool for three years and now a full time Aide at First Christian Church Preschool for one year.

I enjoy working with the three to five year old age group a great deal. They are always eager to learn new things.  In the classroom, my main focus is to anticipate the needs of the teacher and to help the class run smoothly.  Since the three year old class is usually the child's first preschool experience, I want it to be fun and exciting.

The 3 year old class is for children who will turn 3 by September 30, 2009. The child must be potty trained and out of "pull ups". The 3 year old class focuses on social, emotional, behavioral, and physical development of children. It encourages children to share, listen, plan, follow, lead and express themselves while gaining self esteem and independence.
